Care for the Course:
Cranberry Valley is the busiest 18-hole golf course in SE Mass.  Please find the tips and USGA videos below to help care for the course and keep it in tip-top condition.
Ball mark repair: A properly repaired ball mark on a green will heal in 2-3 days.  An unrepaired or incorrectly repaired mark will take 3-4 weeks to heal.  Please see the USGA video for proper repair technique. A good practice is to repair yours and one other.
Divot repair: The basic rule in the northern climate is: if the divot is intact with roots still attached, replace it.  If the divot explodes and is not intact, use sand mixture.  Please see USGA video for more information.
Driving range divot pattern: This is a big one.  With the busiest grass tee driving range in our area, if everyone used a "linear divot pattern" there would be much better turf on the tee to hit from.  Please see USGA video explaining the linear divot pattern and practice facility etiquette.
