October News:  Please find information below about October tournaments and their impacts, changes to tee times, last cart times, Senior Club Championship results, Commissioner's Cup registration, Cape Cod Municipal Golf Reciprocal Agreement and more.

Hours: The pro shop will be open from 8am-5pm from October 1st-October 15.  October 16th through the end of October hours will be 8am-4pm.  The remote check-in station at the starter house will be open at 7:30am everyday in October (weather dependent).  Afternoons the starter house may not be open, so please check-in at the pro shop if it is closed.

10/9 Cape Cod High School JV Cup - Tee Times 2-3:20pm

10/10 Nauset Hockey - 8:30am Shotgun Start
*Tee-times available after event from 1:40-2:50pm (use Chelsea and request an 18-hole time)/Twilight League tee times from 3-5pm

10/14 Monomoy All-Sports Boosters - 12:30pm Shotgun Start
*9-Hole Tee Times available off both 9's from 8-10am (may have limited cart availability).  Use Chelsea to make a request and be sure to request a 9-hole tee time.

10/17 Harwich Chamber of Commerce (rescheduled from spring rain-out)- 8:30am Shotgun Start

Fall Green Aeration
October 22-24 our maintenance staff will be aerating greens, weather dependent.    The golf course will remain open, as usual,  while staff aerates greens.   The plan is to do the front 9 on the 22nd, back 9 on the 23rd and hold the 24th as a rain date.  Please expect at least 9-holes to be on temporary greens while staff complete this essential agronomic practice.

2024 Commissioner's Cup

The Commissioner’s Cup is an annual competition between Cranberry Valley Golf Course and Captains Golf Course.

The tournament will be held this year on Sunday November 3, 2024, at Cranberry Valley Golf Course. There will be a shotgun start at 9:00 am.

Men will play from the white tees and women will play from the red tees. All players will receive 100% of their handicaps.

Both teams will be limited to 40 players, 32 men and 8 women.

The cost to play in the tournament will be $50.00, which will cover the green fee, golf cart and light faire at Jake’s @ Cranberry Valley after the completion of play.

Cape Cod Municipal Golf Course Reciprocal Agreement

It’s that time of year again, when our neighboring town owned courses offer a reciprocal rate to our pass holders. 

Golf Courses include:

Sandwich Hollows, Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds, Hyannis Golf Course, Bayberry Hills, Bass River, Dennis Highlands, Dennis Pines, Cranberry Valley, Captains Golf Courses

Annual Pass Holders at the above mentioned golf courses may play any of these courses at a flat rate of $30.00 (green fee only) between the dates of September 15 – June 15 with the following stipulations:

-       Advance reservations will be accepted no more than two (2) days prior to day of play.

-  -  Mon – Thur only between Sept. 15 – Oct. 31

-       Mon – Thur only between Apr. 1 – June 15

-       7 days a week between Nov. 1 – Mar. 31

-       When booking the reservation, the player must inform the golf course that they wish to pay the reciprocal rate and from which golf course they are affiliated.
